The Spring Blazer

Romwe blazer | Garage floral top | shorts from Candie's | bow earrings from Felicee | key charm from Trinkets for Keeps | Eiffel Tower long necklace | wooden wedge sandals

Aside from the feminine elements of this ensemble like the floral print, pastel colors, and the bow, the androgynous blazer also screams hello spring. Speaking of blazer... I was not so fond of blazers before because I thought of them as a grown-up stuff. But then its beauty came to my senses when I fitted a blazer that I really liked in a store. It made me look sophisticated and respectable (haha!) even I was wearing it only with jeans and hey, it's chic! Why was I so ignorant?!

Truth is that you can throw a blazer over almost anything. Blazers come in two types: the conventional and the modern.
Conventional type blazers are suitable for ladies of over fifty, unless you're Tyra Banks; while the modern ones are commendable for ladies of any age group. Modern blazers come in various styles - the fitted, boyfriend type, draped, short-sleeved, and the belted - to name a few. We have a pretty much huge range of selections, so no reason not to stock a few good blazers in our closets.

Although sunshine is starting to beam upon us, crisp breezes are still present. And just for the record, I am literally thin-skinned - thus, prone to feeling cold. This cerulean blazer from Romwe saves me from chills.
